PVB resin 

The PVB interlayer film is mainly made of PVB resin. The PVB resin is a polymer compound obtained by reacting polyvinyl alcohol and butyraldehyde under strong acid catalysis.

PVB resin is non-toxic, odorless, non-corrosive, non-flammable, has good light transmission, insulation, weather resistance, abrasion resistance, water resistance, oil resistance and aging resistance. It has a special bonding to inorganic and organic glass and high transmittance, can be used as a laminating material for safety glass and also can be used as other transparent materials.
